Online Application for the Post of JUNIOR BASIC TEACHERS (JBTs)

Chandigarh Education Department has taken recruitment to the posts of Junior Basic Teachers (JTBs). Interested candidates can visit the official website from 10 August to 31 August. Essential Qualification

To participate in the recruitment process, candidates must have a graduation degree in any stream. Along with this, the candidate should have passed D.El.Ed or B.Ed. However, for any further information, candidates must check the notification on the official website once.

Total Posts

In the recruitment of Junior Basic Teachers, 149 posts are reserved for General, 56 for OBC, 59 for Backward Classes, 29 for EWS.

Age Limit

Candidates minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age should be 37 years to apply in the recruitment process. However, relaxation will be provided for reserved category as per rules.

Application Fee

In the recruitment process of junior basic teachers, the application fee for General, OBC and EWS will be Rs 1,000, while the backward class will have to pay Rs 500.
